Secularism is the religion of contemporary France. And the enforcers of that faith have a new target. “Today ... we are confronted by certain Muslim women wearing the burqa, which covers and fully envelops the body and the head like a moving...

There is no secular thought which guides to impose ban on burqa.

I think - a persons face should be uncovered and be seen.
Whats to stop anyone either male or female from wearing a full burqa and robbing a bank.
I don’t know how those women can breathe properly with their face’s covered or worse if they suffer from asthma.
As the saying goes when in Rome do as the Romans do (this time its in France.)

We can breathe! The Burqa is woarn for a purpose, Its not oppression, imprisonment or taken by our will. Please instead of comming out and judging us why don’t you research and find out why we wear what we wear. Don’t let the media spoon feed you lies. Read the Quran and have your own opinions on it thank you. May Allah guide you.

You are absolutely right! How do we know whether they are forced to wear it or not. The Qu’uran only says that women must dress ’modestly’ - but conveniently men have decided that this means women should be shrowded up. If Muslims dont come out in public more instead of staying in their own little communities, what are people supposed to think? - The assumption then is that women are forced to wear it until I hear something to the contrary from a reliable source.

It's a reality that Muslim women are forced to wear burqa. But the way in which France has declared ban on burqa can't be justified. How can any establishment go against the popular will? Are the Muslim women in France mentally prepared to do so?

the fact that you live in the U.S.A. means that you have the voluntary option to follow the dictates of your conscience and beliefs which is good for you, but the fact that you can condone mandatory repressive forced beliefs of Islamic countries where women cannot follow the rational common sense of their beliefs according to their free will and informed conscience, means that you don’t believe in the freedom of people to choose for themselves.

These oppressive regimes force people to behave like robots to their backward unhealthy and regressive degenerate religious practices.

With practises like these the west (and other countries adopting democratic behaviours) will continue to advance, while degenerate whacky religious countries will be held back by their inability to realise or critise their religiouns falsehood to reality, considering that even basic and old science evidence show that religions contradict reality and as such are a collective delusion passed on from generation to generation.

Believe what you like but don’t feel that it is anybody’s right to force it onto others.
